Anyone Targeting Google Maps?

Does anyone have a local site where they target rankings on Google Maps?

With PDA's, GPS systems and other portable devices becoming more popular, this is a big deal for anyone with a local site.

I'm searching for as much SEO info as possible on ranking for local terms...anyone have any tips?

What I have so far;

1/ People need to sign up their local business here.

2/ Businesses that have multiple locations need to start here.

3/ Write reviews for your business or site on places like CitySearch.com and online yellow pages.

4/ Make sure your business is listed in local phone books.

5/ Some people say that uploading a logo when you sign up at Google may help your rankings.

6/ Give detailed info on your business. Provide your complete address, payment options etc..

There are some other tips I've seen, but there seems to be a lot of conflicting information out there (and a lot of 'guesses').

Anyone with experience in this area, please post anything you can add to this topic!!
