New version of LinkAssistant SEO Tool

Hello I've seen the new version of LinkAssistant SEO Tool - The Most Effective SEO Software and planning to test it.
Any comments about this product (old or new versions)?
Any better alternatives?

Well I only glanced at a few pages since their website is very ineffective at dispalying "what this does" and "how it does it" but what I gathered instantly is that it's going to scan for sites in whatever niche and dig up all the whois details so people can spam me.

What would you say it does?

if you look at the featuers:

Detects sites that already link to you ( I like this one )
Automatic form-filler ( could be good?)

Well, didnt find anything else that is worth talking about lol

I downloaded it and tried it for a second, the features you mention do seem valuable but it definately bases itself on finding site owners details and contacting them with a form letter....which I think is at least "borderline" spam.

I'm undecided on it's value, hope some others chime in as well......I'm certain this program could be used ethically and valuably but it's going to be a dream come true for spammers as well so not sure, head scratch I guess.

Yeah im not interested in spaming, thats not my type of thing to do and I have never used a "seo program" before so I was interested if someone had used it and if it was good, that all.

I dont use these tools or any of them for that matter. Sure if you want to find just any old link they may do but if your looking for quality links I dont see how your going to be able to weed through all the crap. Really you would spend twice the amount of time. Let your tool gather the data and than sift through the data to find the good sites vs. the junk sites. Seems like an unneccessary step to me when you can skip the tool part and do it yourself in less time

And if you send out the emails using it I am sure you will probably get a low approval rating. Myself I am sick of crap template driven link exchange requests that I now tell them up front what I will and will not accept so we don't waste each others time.

Something else to ponder...is the tool really that neccessary that you need that many link partners? I am sure you could probably find 5 a day on your own if you tried and by doing a bit of leg work on your own you also show the person you are talking to that you have an interest in their site and they may be more inclined to link back

if this is for buying links..well basically the same thing applies. One good link far outweighs all the junk.

Last thing and I will stop harping. The one thing that annoys me the most is when people use my who is information to contact me. That shows they didnt pay attention to our site or they would have seen a How to Contact Us Page linked on every page in the sidebar. If the webmaster has a contact us page, thats probably what you should be using or looking at rather than using the who is details.

SEOelite is a popular program right? So there must be something good with program like this, one thing I really like is that you can see what site links to your page. That I think can be usefull , but I would not buy a program just for that.

And for the record, i have never mailed anyone asking for a link exchange.
