    Default Best backlink audit tool?

I am checking out various tools and so far I like the best:
    SEMRush
    MOZ Opensiteexplorer

What have you used, and what is your experience?

I need to create a few disavow files, guess it would be a good idea to use more than one of those tools to get a complete picture of my backlink profiles

Three tools I am probably going to use:
    www.monitorbacklinks.com
    www.majesticseo.com
    www.moz.com
#1 and #3 have a "tox score" index giving you a suggestion as to which links might be toxic, and you can filter the links to show, for example, all backlinks with a tox score of over 40%. Most other tools give you some kind of "trust score". I like the inverse function of "tox score" because it does not simply rely on the domain authority but also raises a flag when the concentration of money keywords in the anchor text is too high or when a link seems unnatural for a number of other reasons.
Majestic seems to find most backlinks, but I guess it is good to use more than one tool. With #1 and #3, you can import backlinks found with external tools.
My strategy will probably be to sign up with all three (plus maybe some more, such as www.semrush.com, www.ahrefs.com), then import all found backlinks to tool #1 or #3, decide on a tox score threshold and then create a disavow file. On top of that, a manual evaluation of all backlinks seems to be the way to go.

When I do this, I will keep track of how many additional backlinks the various tools actually find and post my findings here.

Cool All great tools above! Heres a gem the others have missed.

The tools listed above are all great seo tools however you are missing my favourite from the list. Have you heard of SEO Powersuite before, by Link Assistent? This is my number 1 favourite SEO software that I have used. Really simple, reasons and explaintions with recommendations and is completely unlimitted. For link analysis check out seo spy glass and spy on your competitors linking strategy.

All the other tools are amazing too. You should check out the free trial and let me know your opinion. Be great to see what others/experts think. As I am new I can not post any links as of yet. Please contact me for the trial.

If you run a marketing company you can customise your reports to match your brand. This has been a god send to me. Hopefully for you too!
