Default What's The Best SEO Subscription Service?

I have never paid for an SEO subscription type of service before. I have always researched what I know from the Internet.

I am thinking whether or not I should sign up with one of the more popular SEO learning sites.

My questions; would I learn more from these paid sites than from researching on my own for free? And also, in your opinion, which is the best paid SEO site?

    Thanks guys.

    Default SEO BOOK

    SEO Book -

This is the best source I have found. $100 per month and you get access to the membership section along with a copy of the SEO Book (eBook). It is well worth it in my opinion. Aaron Wall does an excellent job of maintaining this resource. Highly recommended and I am sure that anybody who has paid for the membership and used it would agree.
If you need Casino Reviews, I probably have the one(s) you're looking for.

    Thanks CorryC,

Yeah, SEO Book is the one I was thinking about joining. I appreciate your input and am glad to hear that you think it's a solid investment.

Anyone else care to share their opinion?

    I can really recommend SEOmoz.org

In case you're one of those affiliates that don't make a dime, why not play some free poker on my website PokerForFree.org. I am always on the hunt for new members, and if you contact me and mention PAL, I'll be more than happy to increase your initial bankroll a bit

I guess I am looking for a centralized place for good SEO tools, videos, case studies, private forums, etc.

I see you've made your choice but the problem with subscription services in any industry is that unless you're already an expert you have no way of knowing whether the service you're subscribing to is worth subscribing to. Getting recommendations from other people is no help in that respect.

When I asked the question, however, I was thinking that some subscription services offer different perspectives. If you're looking for something specific, then you want to go with the subscription service that most closely matches what you're looking for.

If you don't know what you want from a subscription service you're probably wasting your money. You need to decide where you want to go with your search engine optimization.

Call me jaded, cynical, or anything else. I've just found that paying "experts" for advice that can be found elsewhere is not really in my best interest. However, paying for specific services and resources that I want to use which cannot be obtained for free makes sense.

You need to gauge any service you sign up with through its return on investment. If you pay a guru $5000 for his knowledge or tools and you make $5000 solely because of what you learned or gained access to, you at least broke even -- so you wasted your time but not your money. On the other hand, if you make more than your $5000 then you've got some value (although the ROI may still suck).

And, of course, if you're just paying a subscription so you can hang with the "cool" crowd then you're not making any money and so you have no ROI.

You should set some goals: I'm going to spend THIS MUCH money. If I don't make back at least twice that amount within SOME SPECIFIC PERIOD OF TIME, then the service/tool isn't worth my time or money.

Don't just join some service because people say it's great. Great services and tools don't make money. People make money by making good choices. We make good choices by knowing what we want and seeking out the best resources to achieve our goals.

Quality reply Micheal... something that applies to all investments and not just the SEO.

Got me thinking... maybe you could help facilitate a discussion on which areas of our poker site's SEO we might want to focus on in terms of maximizing return on our SEO $$s?? Or maybe we have to invest in that information too

    Thanks, Mark
