What do you think of it and do you think it is worth the $299 a year?

Probably, although I've noticed I rank #1 for a bunch of terms in both Yahoo and Live that I get no traffic for, while I rank #4 and #5 for same terms on google that do get traffic.

Not sure how much Google values Yahoo directory - would be good question for one of the resident seo experts like either Randy, Nat Arem, or Kaus.

Any particular reason? I see it has no PR, is that because of some sort of Google/Yahoo thing? It doesn't mean Google doesn't think a link there is worth much? Can you make a comparison between a directory link here and another type of link so I can gain a better understanding of exactly how strong it is?

even yahoo is not used that much in some specific countries? (Yahoo Romania doesnt exist)

So Im talking about non english sites.

Question - Can I submit different sections of the same site? Can I submit my root url to the general category, and then submit /blog/ with an independent updated blog section to the blog category? Would this be worth it?

When I tried submitting PAP to Yahoo back in the day, it got denied for being a gambling related site. Just an FYI, this was over 12 months ago though.

I've gotten a poker site in before, but recently was denied on another site for being "gambling related." Weird.
