Google Manual Review?

I'm getting crawled a trillion times a day by the IP 74.125.16.2. It is owned by Google. I have done some research that says it can be because my site is getting a manual review or something?

I really don't know much about it - anything to be concerned about?

From what I have read, as long as you're on the "up and up" on your site, it should not be a cause for concern.

I believe manual reviews are done by tons of people in their network across the world, those dudes can usually tell within about 5 seconds if you are shady or not. I wouldnt expect a ton of page views. Just guessing you have some bot activity and your analytics haven't been able to identify it as a bot. Im pretty sure this has happened on my blog where my avg. daily page views is about 150. The last month I have a few days with 1500 which seemed to coincide with the addition of incoming links.

The IP address you give (74.125.16.2) appears to be the Sitemap crawler. Manual reviews should not create much traffic for a site.

I was getting this too with a few sites and had no idea what it was but it wasn't a person thats for sure.
