Strange Yahoo Behaviour

I know the general consensus is that yahoo is not as important a SE but im trying to develop a good all round SEO strategy.On Yahoo a lot of the keyword phrases ive targeted are buried and dont appear anywhere near page.this include many longtails that im on page 1 of the big G for.

The secind strange thing is my url appears on yahoo as mydomain.com instead of www. Is this a problem at all?

For me, it's not a problem at all. as long as the domain without wwww drives at your domain.

Direct URL is not a problem mate.

PS: I do suggest you to focus more at Google Search Engine than Yahoo.

Yeah Im doing fine in Google but nowhere on Bing and Yahoo. I think Bing is definitely going to grow and would be stupid to ignore. I think Yahoo is the least valuable but I woulds till like some visibility there.

Slightly off topic, however, i would use the following in your htacess

Just a Tip mate, If you want to rank more in Yahoo and MSN do a lot of Article Submissions. These two search engines credits more in quality content... not just a keyword with a link.

I do not understand yahoo either . I rank well in google and not even found sometimes in yahoo.

Yahoo seems to like sites the the keyword in the domain more than google. Also it seems google values higher quality backlinks. Any truth either?
