Couple quick SEO Q's

1) Can it harm my rankings if I post one article per week to digg from the same site, and rarely post articles from other sites?
2) Can posting "almost duplicate" stuff to my sites (connected to same analytics account and hosted in same place) hurt me? For an example I post to multiples sites OMAHA POKER RULES articles, obviously not a duplicate, but there is just so many ways to tell that you are dealt four cards..
3) Could it hurt my rankings if I post almost same type articles to one of my sites. e.g I post articles OMAHA POKER RULES and TEXAS HOLDEM POKER RULES?

I have a question about your 2nd question: why would you want to have multiple articles about "Omaha poker rules" on multiple sites? Wouldn't your time be better spent creating multiple articles targeting different keyword phrases?

ON EDIT: If you don't have keyword-injection in mind, I apologize for misunderstanding your point. However, the more similar your content becomes, the more likely a duplicate content filter will give you pause to think about your strategy.

Not in a general-purpose search engine but you may find your DIGG account disabled as they are very unfriendly to link-building practices at DIGG. Nearly the entire SEO community claims to have been banned on DIGG -- take that for what it's worth.

Some people get away with keyword-injected templated content, if that is what you're talking about. Most people don't.

The key to getting past the filters appears to be adding unique value to the keyword-injected templated content. What kind of value? Something the search engines don't find on other sites.

If a search engine decides two documents are virtually identical, it will rank one and not the other unless both have strong link profiles.

How does it choose between the two?

That's the fifty-dollar question.

I infer from your questions that you're hoping to reduce your workload by taking some short-cuts. Unless you know a great deal about the pros and cons of those short-cuts, I would strongly encourage you to seek another strategy.
