okay so iv got a .us domain.

its ranking on page 22 on google for a certain search term, yet is 2nd page on yahoo.

could there be a reason for this, like yahoo liking .us tld's more or something?

the site is pretty new just like two weeks, just wandered if there was a reason for this.

Are you pertaining in your site's SERP? I always say this, Yahoo and MSN Search Engines give credits more in sites having lots of article.

They prefer more having quality content.

Yeah i update the site everyday, and thats what iv been thinking, yahho seem to rank sites that are updated frequently higher.

Im determined to rank high in google though, i mean page 22 is just bullshit lol..

Maybe im just rushing things , il just concentrate on adding more unique content and hopefully il see the rewards lol

How new is the site? How many links have you obtained for it? Google tends to be pickier than Yahoo! and BING when it comes to ranking new, link-poor sites. Also, it could be that Google doesn't like your links. In fact, statistically most links appear to not pass value in Google's index.

Good to know that you update the site everyday. Personally, I can't read how Google give credits in a certain site. In some cases, you have a good keyword rankings in Google yet so poor in other Search Engines like Yahoo and Bing -- or vice versa.

Just a TIP: Better focus more in placing links in those quality sites. Have a snap background check in the site you are using to ensure that Google will indexed it and give credit to your site.

around 3weeks just lol,

and i don't have too many links at minute, and a few are press releases and such.

its just weird because google have every page indexed yet im not ranking high enough for my search term, yet im high on yahoo lol.

I'll just be patient though, already had conversions from yahoo traffic so can't complain

Your links may need time to age. But it probably would not hurt for you to acquire a few more links. I usually advise people not to go on an endless link building campaign as that is a time waster.

Yeah, iv never added so much content so frequently, and i see that it's really helping my site so far
