Google glitch?

I've noticed something weird in Google over the past week or so. Google webmaster tools is showing my ranking for some terms as 2, 3 and 8. However, when I actually search for the terms, I'm way further down the rankings. Then if I go back into GWT and click on the keyword, it brins up a google search showing my site in the position it has me in on the GWT dashboard. Anyone ever experienced this?

Probably a different datacenter, but I've never really experienced Google to have accurate listings here - always seems behind.

Is your google webmaster account set in the same country that you're currently searching in? That'd make a difference.

GWT data is usually not worth the money you pay for it.
