So far I've found that TrafficTravis keyword tool is completely unreliable.
It may get some results right, but it also massively over estimated others too.
As an example, it says "poker tournament strategy" gets 492 searches on google per day, i.e. 15,000 per month (google adwords says 3,000). Another search on "poker ebooks" gets 146 searches per day in google, i.e. 4,380 per month. I can tell you that I rank 1st for this phrase and only get like 10 - 20 per day.
I also noticed that google adwords figures seem to have dropped massively for me in the last month. The same keywords that I searched for a month is now showing half of those numbers for this month. e.g. best poker rooms (showed around 2,500 last month, now only returns around 800 for me?).
I've used SEMRush which has a keyword tool and generally its results are around half of what google shows - which is pretty realistic when you think about it.
I am still sceptical about keyword tools though. "internet poker education" still allegedly receives 3,000 searches per month acorss most keyword tools. I ranked no.1 for this once and can tell you it doesn't actually get any searches.
So in conclusion, I kind of agree with martinez and mark who said that the best keyword tool is your imagination and to research forums and the web for possible keywords rather than relying solely in a keyword machine. idk.
Edit: TrafficTravis says "poker bankroll" gets 1,000+ searches per day. How can you rely on such a tool lol?
