moving content from homepage to another page

Hi,

I'm currently converting a mini site to WP. The site is currently a 3 page site with most of the content on the homepage. I'm going to break up the homepage content into 3 seperate pages and want to know if there would be an issue with duplicate content.

As im moving the content from the homepage I obviously can't do a re-direct. The homepage will be replaced with fresh content, so will google see the fresh homepage content first and therefore disregard the content on the other pages, which was once on the homepage, as duplicate content?

there is no issue with doing this. it's only considered duplicate content if you publish the same content on different url's on the same domain.

it's ok to transfer content to different pages, just avoid displaying the same content on mulitple pages.

oh, and i should have said, it's ok to edit the content of a page, but keep it relevant.
