Default Does changing domain registrar hurt you?

So just a quick question here.. I have read yes and no, and can myself make a case for both, so mostly looking for input from people who have done it.

When I had someone build me my first poker site I had him to register the domain under his own name at some random registrar. I would now like to move the domain to my godaddy account under my name. Does this change have negative impact on my rankings? I obviously dont really care about 1 week drop or something like, but could it somehow for an example in the SE's eyes hurt my inbound links reliability?

Over the past few years I have participated in hundreds of registrar changes and have not on any occasion seen any degradation in search visibility or rankings because of the changes.

the move its self shouldnt hurt -

the data maybe taking into consideration for geo locating your domain- so if you first reg was india but site is targeted to UK then having the UK whois maybe beneficial to the authority of your site - also you new host location if changed draws relevance here too...

but no - you should be affected in serps unless you move it to a banned ip or something like that - then i could see it being negative...
