Multiple domains, same website

Considering this particular domain is going to be a (micro) niche site, I think it will be difficult for me to come up with enough solid content to warrant 5 smallish sites. I will try to turn the one site into the best resource in its market, and 301 the rest of the domains towards it.

Thanks for poking your head in here Michael. Seems like I'm reading conflicting advice about this. What would your advice be:

a) build one domain up, leave others alone with no content or 301
b) build one domain up, 301 the other (very similar) domains towards main website
c) build all domains into smaller sites, try to get natural links to all of them

done this for the biggest names in online gambling... choose what ever you think is best - if your after link value - think about the time in Investment vs the ROI of the links created... low value - if its one site then its one project - this is why i avoid 4u domains and 2u etc - cos then i have to buy 3 other domains that are worth nothing but a 301 with no original value...


where the guy got the 301 google penalty from - omg - i dont know - but yea you want to take the above course based on multiple years agency experience.
