I was wondering which kind of link would be more valuable:
An in-content link in a post in my blog (I post about 2-3 posts/week and have 60+ posts) or a link in my links-widget (where I have a total of 6 outgoing links).
What do you think?

"The harder I work, the luckier I get."
It would depend on the layout of the site and the nature of the blog posts, but most of the time, I'd probably go for the blogroll link.
Generally speaking, the blogroll link is more powerful because you are getting a link on the homepage, which for most sites is the most important page.
The value comes from the strength and context of the page. Not whether its on a blogroll or its surrounded by text.
That being said, incontext links might be seen as more natural and more likely to be a true endorsement because sidebar/blogroll links are more likely to be purchased or bartered for.
Any link can be natural or artificial. Although some types of links might stand out to search indexing algorithms as artificial, I get the sense that it's the linking pattern that gets most sites into trouble.
That is why most people in the SEO industry advocate diversity in link building methods. It's generally okay to do a little of everything but risky to do a lot of any (one) thing.
Take the links where you can get them and don't worry too much about where they are as long as they are indexed by the search engines and/or visible on pages to visitors.
