so what happens if its a new domain with no ranking that you 303 but there are keywords in the domain?

e.g. you register full tilt rakeback (dot)com, never build a site, but 303 it to your rakeback site.

will your rakeback site get any benefit from this?

Just having a domain 301 redirect to your site with no site ever built on it and no backlinks. The search engines haven't even index the domain yet. I don't see that will have any benefit at all.

I am sure you are right but just to be sure can someone else confirm 100% that if you just forward a good keyword domain name e.g.fulltiltrakeback.com (where no site as ever been built) to another website. the website will gain absolutely nothing from this

How would Google crawl the domain in your example above? Would you point new links to that domain?

Google only processes the 301 as it crawls it. If you'll be pointing new links to it, you might as well use that effort to point links to the real domain.
