Passion? Just because we lost 4-1 all of a sudden we have no passion?

Did you not see england climb back from 2-0 down to equalise 2-2?

I know england were trounced, and i'm more pissed off than anyone in the game against algeria having gone to it. But i really don't blame players who give it all for their country and then get massacred by fans because of overhyped golden generation "expectations".

I never personally beleived we'd win it, semi-finals was just a given. And for the germany game trickplay, I never under-estimated your team. I said on pal before it i thought it was 50/50.

What let england down was horrendous defending in that match. Come on, a goal from a goal kick?

Fact is Yassasin, it's every players dream to win a world cup. So stop traducing them like they're spoilt brats who were forced onto the plane to sa.

I'm not sure if you are being deluded or just patriotic now...

I never said England players were forced on the plane, what I said was they didn't seem bothered and played with no passion. You can honestly tell me England played determined to win every game they played?

You are the only England fan I know who is sticking up for the players. It was them on the pitch playing and yes I agree that Capello made some weird changes and tactical-wise aswel, but facts are no matter who was put on the pitch out of the 23-man squad they should have beaten Algeria.

How can you say the players gave it their all for their country? LOL please!

I've saw more passion at an under 10's game in my local area.

Seriously deluded if you think they played with passion, go watch some of the games again and tell me they played passionately with a desire to win.....

Sure every player wants to win a World Cup but it doesn't fall in their lap. You actually have to play and work hard to win it, but hey what do I know England are obviously 'the best' and not at all overhyped in every competition

Nice debate but I'm right - NO PASSION

How many WC's has Italy won? I think they are deserving of the hype, and tbh there was no hype surrounding them this world cup anyway. They were also without Pirlo for much of the time who typically controls the midfield in every game he plays in.

Now back to England, and playing with passion
