Maria Sharapova vs Andrea Petkovic

Do you give Petkovic any chance in this match? Fatigue won't be an issue because in her previous match Williams retired. How has Sharapova been playing? I haven't seen any of her games. Apparently the only game these two have played against each other, it was a very one sided affair, and Sharapova won it. But I've been impressed with how Petkovic has been playing, I am considering a flutter.

At +160 she certainly has a chance. It's not like you are backing a huge underdog. Sharapova is still wildly inconsistent, and still chokes like a dog on big service points.

Yeah that's why I am thinking its a good bet. We all know what Sharapova is like under pressure and I think Petkovic has a big enough game to trouble her.

I did bet on Petkovic to beat Williams, but the bet was voided. Missed to bet on her for the Sharapova match. Didn't watch it either, but it seems to have been pretty one-sided.
She's 13/8 vs Na Li now, which makes it a very good bet IMO. I think she is running very well lately, and a match against Wozniacki would be something I'd like to see...
Btw at bet365 she is 16/1 to win the Open, just put 50 bucks on her.
