Having more then one account at the same poker room

I have accounts with all the major poker sites I got them years ago before rackeback was common like it is now.

So lets say I want a second account at a certain poker room so I can mainly get rakeback but if I can get the bonus aswell that would be a bonus.

By the way this won't affect any affiliates as I signed up under my own link and they cut this out a while ago. I also have'nt played there in years.

It is best to stay away from multiaccounting in my opinion. You will just run into issues down the road, if you account was ever reviewed or when you go to withdraw. Also, most affiliate programs don't let affiliates sign up using their own trackers.

I agree I dont think signing up for a second account is the best thing to do I dont want any trouble down the road. I just sent this certain room an email asking them for rakeback so we`ll see what happens.

No problem Stocks. I think you went the right route by going to the poker room first, but if that doesn't work, try going to a rakeback provider and the usually have a section/link saying, "if you already have an account at this room, click here" or something along those lines. If the poker room denies you, since most don't give rakeback directly to your account if you ask for it, that may be your second bet.
