Default Would You Hedge This Bet?

At the beginning of the season I bet the Boston Bruins to win the cup at +1450 I wagered $69 to win $1000.

Right now it looks like Vancouver is around -205 to win the cup so if I was to hedge this bet I would only guarentee myself like a $300 profit.

At those odds I don't really like the idea of hedging but I also think the Bruins will have trouble with Vancouvers speed. The Bruins have a bad habbit sometimes where they stop skating for extended periods of time and being a bigger slower type team this really hurts them when playing small fast teams thats why they had some trouble with Montreal and Tampa but walked through Philly who are also big and slow kind of like the Bruins.

I'm also a Bruins fan so it will be fucken awasome if they win but suck twice as bad if they lose the series and I lose my bet.

If it were me, I'd hedge. $300.00 is better than nothing. I think Vancouver should win this series.

Never, ever hedge for the sake of hedging to guarantee profit. It makes me cringe every time I read a hedge thread.

However if you like Vancouver to win the series at those odds, then by all means bet it. But only bet it if you like Vancouver on it's own merit, and not as part of a hedge.

That is kind my thinking on the subject aswell. I don't like Vancouver at -205 but I think if they were -150 I would probably hedge.
