    Default Tomic vs Malisse

I can't believe Tomic is the underdog for this match.

He should win it in straight sets. Yeah I know he lost to Malisse last time they played in 3 sets, but the form he is in Malisse doesn't have a chance.

Finally another Aussie contender that can realistically win another GS.

Just because I jinxed Stosur doesn't mean I always get it wrong Honestly who would have picked 2 veterans to play in the ladie's final at Roland Garros.

Tomic is going to get raped by Djokovic.

Has played well thus far though.

Does anyone think that any of the 4 underdogs can make it to the semis? I can't see it myself but I think Tomic might be the best chance of it happening.

Pat Cash said Djokovic is playing the worst out of the top 4 seeds.

Respect to Tomic for his run so far..Very impressive of a 18 year old.

With that said..I cant see Nole have any problem with Tomic...maybe in a couple of years but not at the moment.

Djoko is a whole diff. league than Malisse, grass-hater and out of form Davydenko, and Andreev....Sure the win over Soderling was impressive....but everyone who saw that match could see that Soderling simply was not there on the court and had zero energy left in he bag after almost being eliminated in 2. round...

Would be very surprised if talented Tomic can take set from Djoko at the moment. Remember that this guy only lost like 1-2 matches in his last 60 matches.

    h2h is 1-0 to Tomic

Completely agree with you about Soderling, he didn't look great in any of his matches but was quite impressive the way he dug out from 2 sets down against Hewitt.

I cant see Tomic winning the match but I hope he continues to play as well as he has done so far this Wimbledon.

What is in Tomic's favor is his unorthodox style and he has maturity beyond his years. The pressure is undoubtedly on Djoko this match everyone expects Tomic to lose it. Although the only player that seems capable of beating Djoko atm is Fed/Nadal. Will be interesting to see what comes of this match, I think it will be a lot closer then what most people anticipate. Everyone expected Nadal to run over Tomic when they played and he held his own and is in better form now. I'd say 4 sets to Djoko but I hope I am wrong and I think the start of the match will be hugely important for Tomic. If he can win the first set he can win the match.
