For anyone interested in joining our weekly picks pool, this is a $25.00 buy-in winner take all contest. It cost $26.33 to join each week, $1.33 extra is the fee PP charges. The deadline to enter for Week 15 is Thursday December 15 at 8:00PM US East Coast Time. This contest runs each week. Each week members send their $25.00 buy-in via PPal and then enter their picks at runyourpool.com. The person with the most correct picks wins.

Help for Newbies

• Picks are made against the point spread. The software shows the team favored on the left side and list all point spread in a negative format. So for example if you see Denver -2.5 Oakland. This means Denver is a 2.5 favorite. At the end 2.5 points is subtracted from Denver’s actual score to determining the outcome as far as the picks are concerned. So if Denver wins by just 1 point, or 2 points – they lose as they’d have needed to win by 2.5 point to win. So the team on the left needs to win by at least the point spread, where the team on the right needs to either win the game outright or lose by less than the point spread.
• The final field is listed as “Tiebreak (MNF combined points):”. Here you need to enter the total number of points you feel both teams will score in the final game of the week. (This is the last game listed on the screen where you’re entering picks). This only comes into play should there be a tie. The person who came closest to predicting the score of the final game of the week wins under the tiebreaker rules.
• The person with the most correct picks wins the pool.
• Next week a new contest starts and if you wish to join you'll need to pay the $26.33 ($25.00 + fee) before entering picks.

Contest Rules

1. Champion Must Defend - $25.00 is deducted from the prize pool to cover the winner’s entry for the next week. The winner must enter next week to help seed the pool, so PLEASE, DO NOT FORGET TO ENTER YOU PICKS FOR NEXT WEEK. If you do your buy-in lost (no refunds).
2. No Refunds - If you pay but fail to enter picks your buy-in is lost. I will be advertising the number of entrants and size of the prize pool throughout the week with your entry counted. Please keep in mind – You can change picks at any time prior to the start of the first game – so a good idea is to enter even random picks right away after paying, then come back before game time and make changes if you’d like.
3. Line Errors – Any line errors due to human error that are off by more than 5.5 points will be changed to the correct line. Note: If a line moves due to an injury, or because the admin guessed at the line because it wasn’t out yet – then this is still a valid line. What I mean by human error is that the line was entered as +6.5 instead of -6.5. In this case it’s off by 13 points was an obvious human error and will be changed to the correct line.

Added Week 2 - I was just asked if someone can have their family member join. Yes, this 100% fine, just send their payment with yours and give them the info to join the league. Likewise, if you want to purchase multiple entries yourself, that's fine as well.

Winner Paid. You guys don't know him is one of my sisters friends I just met in late August who was asking me about football betting.
It was actually really close. He (Jason) finished 11-5, and Ryan Finished 10-6, was decided by the Monday night game.

When the lines open up for week 2 I'll post - anyone is welcome to join even those who didn't participate week 1.

Down at the 1 - Cowboys game final of the 4PM games was in OT. 80 yard play he's running down the field approaching goal line if he makes it in I pretty much win the Week 2 pool. Gets tackled and is down at the one. Of course wasn't expecting to cover -3.5 in an OT game - but then seeing it come that close got excited.

So anyways it's interesting now anyways:

Me, Mackan and Prenut all tied for first @ 9-5 record with Sunday and Monday night game remaining.
