Default Best Signup Ever came from a No Depositing Free $25 Bet " This was in 2004 "

It would be interesting to hear your story on your best player that has ever joined one of your programs. In late 2004 a guy signed up for a sportsbook I was promoting which at the time was offering a $25 free signup bet. The guy bet his $25 lost and did not come back for over a year. One day I received a call from the affiliate manager to inform me the player wired the company $500,000 to bet with. Over the next 6 months he lost a grand total of over 2 million dollars and this came from a Free Chip Promotion. Come to find out the player won a Florida lottery for almost 8 million bucks!

It's a numbers game you just never know what will happen and this by far is my most interesting player that signed up and decided to go big later. So if anyone try's to tell you bonus hunters or no deposit only type of players are no good send them this way.

    regards

"The Captain," who used to own Captain's Free Casinos, insisted that all of the people who thought having "free" in the name of his website were wrong. He said that "free" is just a word that gets more people in the door. Yeah, you'll get more freebie-hunters, but you'll get more of everything else too. I've never turned down large volumes of traffic, regardless of whether or not the word "free" or "no deposit" were in their search query.

Nice of you to share that anecdote.

    Totally agree,

When i used to run free bankrolls with Tony G sure i had the ugly low level players who actually lost me money since I had to pay for 35% of the no deposit bonuses, but I had enough volume to pick up some serious grinders who made me several thousands of dollars.

It was to bad when Tony G left Europartners back then with my 900 players - haha at least they paid me off - after that I stopped thos deals since it was so much work :-)

I actually had one guy who raked $400-$500 a day every day for 4-5 months non stop. I would watch him play the 5/10 limit tables and he played every single hand. He stopped playing for them when Europartners decided not to give him a $50 bonus he wanted. I sent him the cash - but he said he will not play there on principal and vanished.

Was making about $150 plus a day off this one guy.

What a Shame, sometimes operators don't understand the importance of keeping regular money making players on the site. Thanks for the comments guys.
