Default KQ short stacked in donkament

Don't consider myself a tourney player at all, not that it matters in donkaments, but I want to make sure this hand was fairly standard.

Blinds were 2k/4k and I was playing with around 8BB with 5 players left at final table (3 players make the money).

The largest stack at the table limps in from UTG, next to act I wake up with KQs and move all-in. Rest of the players fold and he calls with QQ.

Without being results orientated, considering the limper was a fairly tight player with a bigger stack, I am unsure he is limp/folding in that spot a lot, so I think I have a small amount of fold equity and when he does call I am going to be crushed or flipping at best.

    Thoughts?

You didn't share stack sizes of your opponents which might be the biggest piece of information available in making this decision. If he had <20 BBs it makes way more sense than if he had >100 BBs, etc.

Good point. With the blind structure in these donkaments its impossible to have 100BB he certainly would have had <20 BBs.

Knowing nothing really since there's so many variables, it's probably fine. It can't possibly be *terrible* if that 8 BBs you had would have hurt him badly. Obviously his limp is always scary though.

i wouldn't say that defines his entire range, but yeah it defo happens, when most players are shortstacked someone is usually shoving anyway.

in another hand i called a donkbet shove on the flop with A high and the best hand but lost the hand, so knew it wasn't going to be my night.

honestly this is the only player that tournament where i think this is a close decision, it was an older nit he certainly was a decent player, against any other donk this is a really standard shove i think.

He said UTG <20 BBs, he could definitely fold for >33% of his stack, though yea he is calling most of the time.

i am not sure if that's a question or a statement. although i kinda know how he plays, i don't have much history with him, and i didn't know for certain if he would call or not. if i knew he was calling for sure i would have folded the whole point of shoving was to maximize fold equity.

its a fold to me, i call and maybe one or 2 others do and im in a raffle, i raise and its a showdown, or i fold and given you mentioned you were all pretty shortstacked im being a tiny bit more patient.
