Default Moltzen threatens to sit out the 2012 NRL season if the Dragons don't release him

Read more: Wests Tigers fullback Tim Moltzen threatens to sit out the 2012 NRL season if the Dragons don't release him | Herald Sun

If only the Dragons had the same passion to play for their club...

The form Moltzen was in late in the 2011 season, you'd have to be slightly worried... Hazo??

I struggled through half the article and then realised it wasn't in English. Hate when that happens because while Google translator covers most languages - Australian/Austrian is one of the few languages they don't yet support. Can one you guys from Australia/Austria (whichever spelling you prefer) explain why that dude taking off with that cycling helmet is so angry and why the rest of the soccer players appear pissed he stole it. Looks like a cool story but was not really explained well in the words I could make out what the photo is about or why someone would sit out a season over it.
If you're going to bet US Sports online - I strongly suggest 5Dimes.com or Bookmaker.eu.

Some succeed because they are destined to, but most succeed because they are determined to.

Moltzen wants to stay at the Tigers next season and not honor his contract with the Dragons. The Tigers are saying he was never officially released so should not have to play for the Dragons in 2012. Moltzen is also threatening not to play next season if forced to honor his Dragons contract. It's basically a contract dispute and that cycling helmet you refer to is a football lol.

Btw the article is in English, it was published in an Australian newspaper.

    That was funny...

I think the whole story sucks - u cant sign a contract when you have a contract with someone else. None of this makes sense (although who'd want to play for the Dragons...)

Australian... Austrian, all the same really I did get a chuckle out of that too. The article does have a few funny unusual words in it though, can see where he is coming from.

If he wanted to play for the Tigers he wouldn't have signed a contract with the Dragons.

    The Dragons shouldn't release him.

Maybe if there wasn't complete unrest in the Tigers camp, with everyone leaving, players sleeping with the other players wives and discontent then he wouldn't have signed to begin with.

I agree - from what I read the Tigers said that he should look around, and he signed in good faith.

If the Tigers had no leg to stand on its doubtful they would have contested it and who can really blame him for still wanting to play for the Tigers.

I'm salivating about the Moltzen and Marshall combo this year. I don't think pussy has even got me this excited. Just hope they're both going to be injury free. Also hoping Mitch Brown will be fullback.

Bring on NRL in 2012 boys
