I think you are missing the point of me checking the turn. I stated it above for the most part. It's a fairly safe board I wasn't worried about this player donk calling me on the flop with a gutshot I knew he wasn't that bad so barreling to protect my hand is insignificant in my decision making. By checking the turn I fake weakness, and worse 9x that may have folded to a barrel may call the river bet. Either way with villain having such a small stack getting his stack in the middle is easily accomplished. I think this hand can go either way tbh. Sometimes I am calling and sometimes I am folding. I knew his flop c/c was weak but that doesn't really help because that can mean a worse 9x or 2x hand. But I really didn't have much of a read on his donk shove. I kinda just got lost on the river and flipped a coin to make the decision haha. Honestly this last session was super awesome, not because I won a ton of money, only like $100 (lost this hand) but because there were so many interesting spots where I was put to the test. I want to post another interesting pre-flop spot actually.
