I think that was the first time I saw him normal 3 bet. I saw him reraise allin a couple times although he was short stacked for a couple of them. I know he was a bad player because I saw him raise 3x UTG with A6 off and he made a couple bad calls I can't recall them though.

What makes it even more annoying is that he was the guy that knocked me out when I went allin he woke up with KK on the BB

If this was his first 3bet folding has to be the correct play here imo, regardless that you feel he is a bad player. That just typically means his post flop play sucks but doesn't necessarily translate to pre-flop aggression and getting out of line.

The sizing also suggests its more for value then being light since with these effective stacks a smaller 3bet would achieve the same thing. Not that I would really expect a bad player to even have a light 3bet range.

Knowing that I would probably go ahead and get it in with JJ against these two players, given that this is a massive field and opportunities for triple-ups with neutral to +ev outcomes just don't come that often.

I don't think folding is bad.

This is one of those decisions that people agonize about, but here's a little poker secret: It doesn't really matter what you do. When a decision is very tough, it's usually (tho not always) because it's a very close decision in terms of ev.

When a decision is very close, it doesn't matter what you do - it's close. Any decision is fine.

This decision is a great example. There are good arguments for folding and good arguments for getting it in. It doesn't really matter which you do, neither play can be that wrong. There's no need to agonize.
