Default I finally won a poker tournament

I finally won a poker tournament but too bad it was only for $479, I wish it was the sunday million. Either way it's still cool that I can now say I actually won a poker tournament.

It was a $4.40 (2R1A) tournament with around 220 people.

When I got heads up the other guy had a 2 to 1 chip lead $750,000 to my $350,000 and the wierd thing was the last 2 tables I played with this guy and he was pretty aggresive but when we got heads up he became super passive so I kept it small and chiped away at him. The turning point came when he limped or min raised with T6 and I just called with pocket 4's. He floped top pair tens and I floped a set, then he turned trips and we got it all in on the river. After that I was around 650k and 450k and 10 or so hands later I got him allin preflop with QQ vs his A6 and that was it.

The other funny thing was he wanted to split 50/50 when he had the 2-1 chips lead and I was like ok if you want to lol but I did'nt know how to slpit so we never.

Cool man it had to turn around for you. That previous QQ hand was pretty sick.

Fuck splitting it how often are you in a position like this and it's not like we're talking heaps of money either.

Ya I did'nt really care about the split I was just going along with it because the other guy wanted to.

I was short stacked for the first 3/4 of the tournament because I lost a couple big hands early but it turned around when I had around 12 BB left and the blinds were $200 $400. UTG raised to $829, there was one other called and I was on the BB so I called with J8s. The flop came 578 I pushed allin and the raiser callled he had aces but it came runner runner spades and I hit a flush. A few hands later I got it allin preflop with QQ verses AA and hit a set. So the trick is to get you money in bad and get lucky.
