    Default JJ OOP, 4 Way

Same game, 2/5 1k max at philadelphia poker | parx casino | parx poker room

I am in SB with JJ. There are five limpers. I raise to $40. Three people call. Pot is about $175 going to flop.

Flop is 892 rainbow. I am first to act and lead for $120.

Folds all around to guy on button who calls. We had some history. He doesn't like to fold (but is capable) and makes some weird moves, generally not difficult to tell where you're at against him imo. We are both about $1,500 deep but that's not too relevant here.

Turn is 6. Now the straight draw is out there and is a concern, but not a primary one.

If I lead it needs to be for $250 or more, which walks into a slow play on his part, puts a lot at risk if he decides to shove over, and is just generally messy. I check for pot control and he checks back almost instantly.

    River is a queen.

What do you do and why.

Barreling the turn pretty much always.

I do find it impressive that you like, without fail, manage to reply with the totally wrong response in every thread. Betting the turn requires me to put him on almost exactly a 9 (or worse), which I am hard pressed to bet hard against on the river again, so I am exchanging one bet for the other (turn vs. river) while controlling the hand as much as possible by checking the turn. Beyond this, a turn check is great for deception.

I just don't get how you can be wrong every time; often times referencing a point in the hand that I thought was so obvious that it wasn't even worth discussing. Whatever, back to the line in your signature as a reference.

Focus on the river. It is the talking point here, not the turn.

Grinded 900 hands today on PS for a win rate of 28bb/100. I must suck at poker.

You were playing 25NL and wtf. 900 hands, as if that means anything whatsoever. Did you really use a lone session to illustrate any true capability. lol. Your simple logic is so far off on a very consistent basis, it is literally impossible for you to beat the rake in any game.

    Stay on topic.

Alright I am going to stop posting in your strat threads. You clearly think you are better at poker then what you really are. I think playing the WSOP got to your head or something. That AQ hand was such an obvious decision. The KJ hand you completely fuked up. Yet you think your God's gift to poker. Please.

So obvious that many people (some of which play a lot, which you don't realize) posted in the thread with varied opinions.

Beyond this, as I said before, my win rate at 2/5 is higher than I have ever even seen posted by anyone on 2p2 (and they surely inflate theirs) or that I've spoken to, and most certainly yours (which I guess doesn't matter given you play 1/2 100bb games).

Wtf does the WSOP have to do anything with me. I played cash games there, that's all. Your ridiculous logic flows from one topic to the next.

You are like the awful player at the table who tells everyone else how they should have played their hand.

Also, my live 2/5 graph for the last few months (several PAL members could attest to it being legit).

As I once told someone in a live game who then threatened to kill me, "Don't get mad at me because you suck at poker."

Is that why you hit and run after you stole the blinds from the button in your 1/2 game, to walk away as a 300 cent winner.

That $3 could buy you three McDoubles. It is also worth 12 big blinds in your 10 cent 25 cent game. Choose wisely.

If you think the limits you play is representative of your skill you're an idiot.

fwiw 25nl/50nl online is tougher then 1/2 live games.
