I dont remember last year but when J Yang won we had video stream.

Why do they stop. I think that part is crap, If you ever played a tourney in your life you dont get a month or 2 off, Give em 1 day break and have the FT there and then.

Last year I was at Lake Tahoe for WSOPC events so i didn't look too hard, but do not recall seeing a live stream. I've followed the WSOP final table for years and the best times I had was watching the streams the past two years prior to last. That's the thing I miss most since the format change. I loved both watching the pressure and opponents reaction to each other, but my favorite part was watching hands with no hole-cards and then later seeing some of these key hands on TV.

I actually much prefer having the November Nine, it creates a big build up for the conclusion of poker's biggest tournament. Makes it more exciting when you learn about the November Niners and watch them in various interviews, a 1 day break wouldn't give as much excitement nor would continous play, imo.

My friends and I are re-creating the WSOP final table in a home game today, same chip stacks and seating assignments. We bid on Darvins big stack, then we bid on Eric Buchmans and so on down the line, then play it out.

Of course, I get TWO last minute cancellations and now we're down to the November Seven
