Hi,

Any opinions on it please?

Took you a week to copy/paste articles? lol....
I randomly clicked on two articles and ran them through copyscape, both copied.
Good luck being successful. You need to write your own unique content
Not sure if they do or not but even if they do does that means we all should?
You asked for opinions so I don't know what you expect.
Did you write any of the articles or just copy/paste them all?
Everyone starts somewhere and I noticed you have articles from Articlesbase, that is what the articles are there for, for the authors to get links back to their sites. However a site made up of content already used elsewhere and with outbound links, you don't stand much chance in such a competitive market unless you take the time to rewrite articles into your own words.
Use Copyscape to ensure that articles are unique.
Or just ignore me and keep using others' articles only to wonder in a few months why you haven't earned much, if at all.
Sorry, i didnt mean to be blunt, was just trying to justify what i'm doing (not just stealing).
Three of the articles i wrote myself, there the ones on articlesbase. I made them a few months ago for a website i made a while ago, but never really put any effort into the design / appearance. Didn't really invest any time into that website. And ended up getting no traffic.
This time i've put a lot more effort into trying to give it some branding, and a very clean and attractive layout, so that when people to go on the site.. they actually spend a bit of time on it instead of clicking straight back off (what they did on my old one). Also hoping that by regularly adding the fulltilt articles that i can keep viewers coming back.
I'm planning on adding other pages, such as information on rakeback / poker software / poker books etc. Which i would write up myself and would be on separate pages (as in.. not just on different categories, like i have for the strategy articles). Maybe this would help my website stand out from the rest of the crowd?
I'm mainly doing this as a project over the summer for the experience of running a website, and trying to get a decent userbase, as i'm going to university to study web design next year. Any profit from it would just be a very nice bonus.
It's cool man, I didn't mean to sound harsh.
It's good that you wrote 3 of your own articles, but you should get into the habit of rewriting articles into your own words and making them the best they can be. Using someone else's article makes your page copied even though it is there for you to use for free in exchange for a link.
Maybe you don't want to be serious about it and are just experimenting, and if that is the case then cool - but you probably won't earn anything at all within two months.
Also rakeback, software etc won't stand out. These things have been covered thousands of times, although that doesn't mean you shouldn't add content about them.
I like your layout and the design, is it a premium theme you have customised?
Also check out PokerAffiliateBible.com and take a day to go through all of this forum to read previous threads - you would be amazed how much you will learn by giving up just a few hours.
Good luck anyway, don't give up - just write unique content and stick at it.
