Converting poker league players?

hi all.
I run a local poker league and along with organisers of 2 other poker leagues Im looking at trying to convert our live league players into affiliated players online.

Basically I want to try and get them to join my website to gain entry into the next leg of my live poker games and also enter into an organised poker league online...

Before I begin with the promotion im keen to get some feedback about the site.

One of my main concerns is page load speed, im not sure if this is going to be an issue because my personal internet connection is weak at the best of times.

Anyways love to hear some thoughts?
