    Default And another rakeback site

I know it is lame, but I figured it would be a good idea to let some experts review my site. I've just added a forum and been adding some custom content as well.

Right now I am planning on adding some catchy flash rotating banner on the frontpage, but we'll see.

the address is Rakeback Supplier.com I Your personal rakeback advisor

    And please don't hold back.

So I have two pieces of advice for you, it could be more but I don't see any point in giving you more advice, see point 2.

    1) I think you need a certain amount of traffic before you can start with a forum. In my opinion this should be at least 100 uniques, better 1,000 per day
    2) I dont't think that stealing content from others is a good idea. And sorry if I accuse you but didn't know that you own all these sites:

    From: httpx://rakebacksupplier.com/eng/for_beginners/slowplaying

"There are very few situations where slowplaying is recommended. Most often it is better to play aggressively and try to win the pot immediately than to risk the whole pot for a couple of extra bets." - Google-Suche

    From: httpx://rakebacksupplier.com/eng/for_beginners/tournaments

"Thirdly, since the stakes are so high, some opponents may have chips enough for only one hand. You have to give your opponents time to knock each other out." - Google Search

The dup content is something we have to address with out partners help. It's our default text on all new sites, however all site admins have a simple front end editor to edit all the default content (or hide it). I would recommend that all out partners rewrite the default content or purchase new articles, as pointed out , it could certainly be an issue with serps

Yeah I should write custom content, but as it is I'd rather add more content through the forum because it is more interactive. The content is shared across all rakebackengine affiliates but I see no need to change it at the time since it works.

Right now I'm getting 30 unique visitors a day, but with a bit of promotion and freeroll I am hoping to get to the 100. I think an active forum is the keystone to a successful site so I'm putting a lot of effort in that.

Yep none of our sites have been penalized (yet!) which is good. We are also investing in a heap of different ip addresses for all the skins, but we do certainly recommend unique content should be written

RBSupplier - sorry I didn't know that the content is provided by RackBackEngine.

So well, I can't say that I was successful in building up a forum. I have 10k monthly uniques on a non-gambling site and the forum has about 1-3 new entries per week.
But anyway, what I would do is the following:
    - I would consider is reducing the number of categories you have to maybe 5 to 10. This would make the forum look more busy.
    - And I would register a few accounts by yourself and start talking to yourself in the forum, at least in the beginning (maybe just make one category out of all RB Deals).
    - And I would try to promote the forum on your homepage.

    Good luck!

Np I did say don't hold back . Regarding the forum I did remove most of the subforums before I saw your post it was simply too much. I removed all the specific rakeback sections and kept it down to a minimum.

I used to have a poker site with an active forum (over 100000 posts), with only 500 visitors a day. You just need a couple of good members. Now I'm sure I will never get there with this site, but I think with a couple of nice promotions I should be able to get there.

I'm not a big fan of making fake posts, I'll see how it goes after the freeroll first .

Oh and I am working on plugging the forum on the frontpage.

Thank you for your kind reply. 100k is really a huge success!
I am neither a fan of such tricky methods, but reading a blog post of one of the members here (I tried to google him, but I don't remember his name) changed my mind. As far as I remember, he was able to get 500+ users with 5000+ posts, but it took him months talking with his friend, both using 5 fake accounts, to attract the first "real" forum member

Haha yeah I guess if I'm really desperate I'll start that tactic, just replying on my own hands, but for now I'll try if it can generate posts by itself first. Went through the 100 visitors barrier today though, yee for my spam skills .
