You'll probably think that's harsh advice above but IMO it's the best advice you'll ever get for the idea you have. If you listen now it will save you a lot of time and money, don't listen and 2 Years down the road you realize it yourself.

Yeah I will have to side with these destroyers of dreams as well, put that enthusiasm in something that has potential.

What people have said sounds harsh, but this idea has been tried before with limited success, it's very labour intensive to run, tbh you'd be far better putting your energy and money into something else.

If you do think you can pull this off, and who's to say you can't really - you could be better than anyone else at it. I'd start with talking to the forum owners directly, work out deals with them and know you've got some of the big forums on board before you spend any money on this concept. I'm pretty sure any forums with numbers decent enough to keep this league lively would want to run their own leagues, so it's their feedback you should seek before anything else.
