TourneyTracks.com - Site Review Request

Thank you in advance to anyone who offers their opinions on the site!

We launched TourneyTracks.com a few weeks ago, with the goal of tracking major upcoming tournaments so that players will have a place to find every major series listed. We don't know of a site that is nearly as good as ours at this point and we're still improving every day. Around 80 hits a day right now, but we expect that number to continue to climb as it has over the two weeks since we launched. We've spent about $30 on advertising on stumbleupon, and nothing anywhere else to get that number, most of it is from links and word of mouth.

Our biggest issue is finding the right affiliate programs and getting conversions. I write content and am getting the word out, while my business partner is the web designer and can do nearly anything with WordPress. We're very serious about this project as we believe there is a niche here that no one is doing a good job of filling and we're looking to learn more about affiliate marketing and conversion rates.

Because we are only tracking tournaments in North America right now, online poker affiliate programs probably aren't going to be great for us, and that is what we have always done in the past. Travel affiliate programs look good, but we're not sure where else to go. If you have ideas about where we should be moving banners, what affiliate programs we should promote, or anything else, we very much appreciate it and will be happy to return the favor however we are able.

nice site. if you had any way to list online satellites into the events you have listed there, that would be awesome and conversion centric. Perhaps once regulation comes you would find this to be more profitable and easy to make profitable.

personal plug - if you have any banner space, consider a poker dealing course via clickbank. It's been converting fairly well of late. (some banners in my sig)

Thanks for the heads up on the dealer training, we are going to have a "Deal this event" link in each posting soon and we can promote that dealer training site too. The online sats are a good idea too, though it will be some work to get them all listed. Creating all the tournament listings to get caught up at the start was a pain. If regulation comes and it's good for affiliates we should do well, but we don't want to count on that.
