Default Please Review My All In One Site

I know its a little early to be asking for a site review since I just got started and haven't added much content so far but I would rather make changes now than later. My website focuses on sports betting, online casinos, poker, and bingo. A few changes people have suggested so far are...

    1) Remove banner from header.
    2) Add social profiles to header.
    3) Remove outgoing affiliate links from sidebar.

I haven't made any social profiles yet. I am a little confused on how I should go about it on my website. I have put sports betting, casino, poker, and bingo on their own sub-domains and left the top domain to focus on deposit methods. How should I go about adding social profiles?

For example, with twitter. Should I make one twitter page for the whole website or one for each sub-domain? Same question for facebook. As for youtube, I think one account will do.

Anyway, what changes would you make to the site?

It's fine, but to be brutally honest it looks just like pretty much every other generic affiliate site.

    What's the differentiator?

I would just have 1 Twitter / FB, at least to start. You'd be spreading yourself too thin with 6 different profiles.
I'm on Google Plus, Twitter and Facebook. PM me and I'll add you back.

That make sense, I will create the social accounts asap. For the first 3 to 6 months I will do the normal generic affiliate site to get the money coming in then from there. I will run through some ideas but the main idea will be videos. Lots and lots of videos.

You want a review? Ok but a honest one. You are registert since 2009 , i read alot of your stuff since that time. But my friend to ask for an review for an site like that is bullshit. Your site is something what alot members here would tell thin affiliate site. You have such a big mouth here at pal. Threads to offer your content (haha who is buying 400-500 words content anymore?). Telling other people to use unique tracker for each site. And you really ask us for feedback for such a site? LOL? I mean really , i would accept that if you would be a beginner. But i cant get it.

To say it with clear words again. Your site is shit and to ask people here at pal for an review for an site like that is showing where pal goes. My friends here at pal lets stop this. Let pal be what it was years ago. A plattform where we can help each other.

To be honest i think since week to write something in your threads but today is the right time.

To bring some value for your thread:

I would def! change the name of your theme name. You really think google like themes what get use on 100ths of sites? BTW: You offer onpage seo service or?

I have no idea why you use 3 different css files? Ah i got it maybe a trick from a onpage seo expert. Same reasion why you use rel='prev' and rel='next' on the frontpage right?

Yes my english is really shitty but i think most got the point. Again to ask us here for an review for an site like yours with that much beginner mistakes and to offer onpage seo service here at the same time is a complete joke.

But do you know what make me so angry? That all these beginners read you bullshit about 80-90% onpage and 10-20% offpage. They look at your sites and think a member from 2009 with 1895 posts must be trustable. You have no idea about onpage and no idea about offpage seo. Thats the trues my friend.

Anyway i wish you and your familie some nice chrismas days. Use these days and think about the sentences i wrote.

Im sure that im not the only one with that opinion.

    Regards,
    DonEgon

Thank you DonEgon for being such an asshole on Christmas. You provided no value to this thread what so ever. So take your lame "advice" and shove it... Fuck you and have a Merry Christmas.

Yes name me an asshole. I have no problem with that. I think pal is still a place where everybody can tell his opinion or? To bring some value to that thread and to help you maybe with your onpage seo service a bit i want to share this pdf file with you and with pal.

Its a Seo Starter Guide which should help you to learn the basics.

IMO Don's rant is deserving of a ban that is completely uncalled for. WTF does of all of this crap have to do with reviewing someone's site?

I must admit I came to PAL as a non gaming affiliate because I knew gambling/poker was a super competitive niche and thus the affiliates were likely very knowledgeable and knew what they were doing and I wanted to tap into that knowledge.

But it seems nowadays most people on this forum are just so quick to shoot you down and provide zero value. Idk if it's because 2012 was a bad year or what but there's no excuse for it.

And btw Don some of my most high traffic sites use "popular" themes. The advice you've given is speculative at best.

I don't agree with how the guy said it above, but there is some truth to what he wrote. Your content is thin and like OPR said, nothing there distinguishes you from the next guy. And this probably doesn't matter now (too late), but hopefully still comes across as constructive. I wouldn't do an all-in-one without having an angle or specific audience in mind. From my own experience it's hard to write good/interesting content when you build the site straight up like one might expect.

If you're going to build all sections out I would think of an angle and then build out one section at a time. I would spend a lot of time on the content too. If this is your only site, I wouldnt be churning/burning the same old stuff everyone else is. Actually create some content worth sharing.

I'll add to this later. On my phone right now.

There's no way what DE said is anywhere close to ban-worthy. If you present yourself as an authority on affiliating and then ask for feedback on a site that doesn't reflect that authority, you've pretty much gone ahead and opened yourself up for whatever negative feedback you get.

I also agree with DE's general sentiment re: PAL and I don't think I'm alone on that one. But that's a separate thread.
