Default Need Help with my Affiliate Site

    Hi there,

a couple of months ago i created a blog for casino affiliation. I worked on SEO and after a couple of months I have keywords ranking quite OK in google, yahoo and bing.

I have a number of affiliate programs aswell. I get a number of views and clicks every month, however, no registrations.

If anyone can offer me some tips and help i would be really grateful.

thanks for taking time to read this

    Regards,

If you are serious about this you wouldn't be using blogspot. Host it on your own domain. It's less risky and makes you look more professional.

True true. I was referring to the content though. The domain is work in progress as i'm building the same site professionally. But I'd really appreciate if someone could guide me to the right direction.

Threads like this are way too vague because there's just so much to cover.

But you said you are getting traffic and clicks, but no registrations. So work on that right now. Like make that your focal point - figure out who your visitors are, their demographics, how they got to the site via what keywords and search engine, what links they are clicking, why they are clicking. Get inside your visitors head. Look for consistencies within your visitors too, how they browse your site etc.

Then when you have did that, click the links they are clicking. And figure out exactly why they aren't converting. Then change that, either by changing something on your own site, or by getting a better landing page.

The site, in my view, suffers from a lack of visual credibility. There's nothing that makes me feel good about clicking on any of the links on the page.
I'm on Google Plus, Twitter and Facebook. PM me and I'll add you back.

    Switch to an own domain.
Switch off that music because that caused me to insta-close your site after not finding the mute button within 3 seconds.

Im no where near qualified to offer an opinion or suggestion on what to do from a webmaster POV. however, as a user and poker player, I can give you my perspective from a users POV.

First thing I immediately noticed was the 4 boxes in the middle. Im assuming they are "Read Review Here" info boxes, but with the color scheme, I literally cant read any of them.

Second, I have no idea what to click on and where it will take me. I.E. there are no pages set up, just widget boxes that are obviously pages, but from a typical user who knows nothing about how a web page works, it would look confusing and not like a traditional website.

Last, theres no information whatsoever. It looks like one big page for ads.

Hope this helps from a user POV, but like i said, Im not really a webmaster or even own a site (yet). Which is why im here; to learn from people here who know their stuff.
