Yes, so were natural links. But eventually these things get abused and Google changes their algo to devalue certain links to prevent the SEO industry from gaming the algorithm.
I don't understand what the argument against this is?
Are guest posts editorial links? No. Are the links in the author bio editorial? No. Should they count towards the search engine algorithm?...
