I hear you. Actually I had some spammy links in my profile and I got rid of them mostly (where possible) before filing the request. I'll check any new links very carefully, no way I'll do anything...
Received another standard answer to my reconsideration request. They really don't give a shit. Guess I have to wait and see whether the redirect to example.com for all the crappy backlinks will help.
