SEO is all about doing lots of small things right. Anyone who tells you social signals play a huge role in rankings is likely just trying to sell you a social SEO service.

Nah they didn't mate for Facebook Likes and Twitter. But they did for Google +1.

I agree. Pointless doing this if you don't set up a good campaign. I've explained my reasons in previous posts, marketing to fake followers and SEO were not the reasons I did this.

Negatives in terms of what? I got like 130 fb likes on a music fb page I was promoting and excluding a few likes they have stuck. The engagement hasn't been great but I don't think I really got...

That's exactly the reason I use it. Not because it's an important SEO metric. I think the first impression and social proof is important.

My bad the aff commissions are peanuts for this I was mainly just wanting to share the service.

Btw this service is still doing great for me. As alluded to above don't waste your time with G+1...

Further update because I want to revise my review above. I am actually finding that I am losing a significant percentage of G+1s enough to say it's a waste of time/money to even bother with getting...
