Which type of sportsbook affiliate would you choose

I am curious as i assume that this forum will be mainly American members or at least webmasters targeting the American market.

With that in mind which sort of Sportsbook affiliate program would you prefer one that is aimed at the USA market, one that is aimed at non USA markets or will you just go after the very few that are truly global.

Personally my preference is for European targeted affiliate programs simply because i have a better understanding of their products,

I am not fully versed on the "lines" or even the sports that USA facing books have like March madness etc

European books suit me because i understand 99% of their product and what they offer and because of that i target their markets.

But if you are primarily a casino website considering offering a sportsbetting option would you continue to concentrate on your specific demographics or try to expand your target area.

I don't do much with sportsbooks so this would apply to me. The ones I use have a casino and the SB is an added feature for me.

My rule of thumb is to try not to exclude anyone. Different sites or pages for different targets. I was mostly usa before the law changed. I have slowly expanded to the rest of the world but continue in the US market. For example, instead of 90% usa on one site I am now about 65% usa.

No seriously thats what i am now trying to do in reverse i suppose, my market is european but as i get more into casino and poker i want a slice of that huge American market

Use the Internet. The Internet has made it a little easier for Joe Q. Gambler to lay his money on the Full Tilt Poker rakebackline with services he can trust. Check out the websites for potential football sportsbooks, but don't stop there. Visit unrelated sites. Read blog posts relating to the topic, and contact the webmasters of those unbiased sites to Casino fr find out if they have heard anything of the football sportsbook's reputation. See if you can drudge up comments from people on those sites that have done business with them in the past. Use your online network to find real links that you can trust.
