New sports betting site - question?

So I'm getting ready to dive into a new sports betting tips/strategy/advice type site. More of an all-in-one type site. My question is this:

I read earlier that people were saying .ME domains were not a good thing to develop. Well, I have SportsWager.me that I intended to use for this project. Would you recommend NOT using this and finding a "longer" .COM domain or do you think I can do ok with this .ME ??

Personally I think you are going to have a tough time in the serps, however some viral type sites can take off without any help from serps at all......but if relying on serps I'd avoid it all together (along with .biz, .us, .info, and most other extensions).
