Default big frustration - soft books and limits

one thing that annoys me more than anything with sportsbook affiliating is the soft Uk books and books like sportingbet for example

    heres an example

to confirm tracking correctly, i asked a friend to sign up through a link to xx book. he placed 7 x $10 bets , yes a mere $70 in total on horse racing

2 of his bets won at odds around 5/1, his account is now limited to a maximum of $1.60 bet

what a joke, and i see it all the time , get a new player , he bets alot , bang never seen again , then i get an email from him (i have a sign up section on my sites) complaining about this exact problem. and you dont have to be a nett winner for this to happen either

if you dont want to take bets , close your book and dont bother with an affiliate program as i'd rather send my players to the asian or US facing books where they act like bookmakers

    sorry rant over

    cheers

its common practice amongst the UK books...they only want mug punters...anyone showing any remote knowledge or skill in their betting doesnt last long at most of them

before becoming affiliate in this market I was/still am , a regular gambler. I've been limited at all the books in question myself , as I was what they call a sharp or value better.

they put up odds, and if i think they are overs I bet them....so if they post a horse at 4/1 and i think true value is 3/1 , i'll back it ....its like poker in that sense because statistically I will be ahead.

I now only bet at the asian or US facing books , as they take my bets at the odds they set...no problem
