Besides trust and fast cashouts, what are sports punters looking for? I'm extremely green in the niche but am opening a small site, can anyone offer any cliff notes?
What makes one punter bet at one site over the next, besides legal issues?

i bet everyday..spread across maybe 4-5 books at a time (which change with the different sports)
i bet at some places because their lines are generally softer or I can get more on. most books have their niche , for example I can get 10k aussie on an afl game at sports alive, but if i wanted to bet baseball, i can only get $500 on there, so I would bet baseball at bet jamaica, where i can get 3k on.
similar, if i were a tennis set bettor, i'd bet at sportingbet cuse there odds are better and move slower, allowing the ability to catch +ev lines
i bet at bet phoenix my parlays, multiples etc, because these are higher risk, higher return bets, i can get ongoing reloads when i miss ....
so answering your question around the obvious (security, site navigation, transaction speed) its the odds and the bet limits available.
cheers
Odds and bet limits, got it. Good info, thanks.
You don't concern yourself with any bonus, reloads, vip/loyalty schemes?

MJ, I would say;
1. Best odds/lines
2. Easy customer service/payouts
3. Opening account bonus (this is strong but the other two are far more important)
4. Wide selection of lines/sports
5. In-game betting
Other factors;
> Not getting their limits capped
> Live streaming (recent addition for most)
> Ability to gamble in cross products
Bonuses are not the main thing for sportsbook players. Reputation is key in this industry and that is why watchdogs such as SBR exist and are respected by players.

I bet on sports on a daily basis as well and the main thing for me when betting with an online sportsbook is the time it takes to process withdrawals. When I sign-up for a new sportsbook account for whatever reason I normally won't even use any bonus codes or anything like that due to the rollover involved. I generally make a withdrawal within the first week of using a new book though which is why I don't go after any bonuses since it just causes problems when trying to withdraw money if you haven't met the rollover.
-Sport Selection
-In-Game Betting
-Playing Poker and Casino Games
The above three things don't really play a factor for me personally, but I can't speak for anyone else. As long as the book offers the sports I bet on I don't care about selection. I play poker with PS so I don't look for books offering other gambling products on the same account. In-game betting might be important for some people, but I personally don't do any in-game betting unless I'm really bored and feel like betting on tennis lol.
