Would the term "live betting" be the biggest keyword for this niche?

I can only speak for the German markets - in-play betting is huge and there are many sites out, that target these specific keywords - I don't, but should... -and actually the bookies margins are lower in live-betting, the wagering volume is a lot higher though, easily making up for that.
In the US we call it "live betting" and while less advanced than it is in UK its still not a new concept, and is still very wide spread for nationally televised games.
Pinnacle really pushed in on their home page back in 2005 when they were still in US, while WSEX offered it in a buy/sell share format for years and was on of best. SIA used to be known for softest in play betting, I never used it though. Anyways now a days matchbook has their betting exchange, 5 Dimes and Bookmaker have it for the big games, Bodog appears to be using one of the original live play by play betting software (though it could just be proprietary and modeled off that, not sure). Also is plenty of others.
If you're going to bet US Sports online - I strongly suggest 5Dimes.com or Bookmaker.eu.

i bought bettinglive.org domain name intending to shoot the in play betting angle, but duno if it would be a waste of time/resources. someone did ask about purchasing the domain though but i high-balled them.. so i guess there's some demand.
If you intend to make money from "in play betting" type key phrases then you need to cover trading which is where the big money is.![]()
