    Default What about arbitrage bet?

Hi guys. I'm planning to start with a sports site and i have the idea of using arbitrage bet public (learn them how to bet in two sites: betfair x other site). I know its a low quality traffic but I guess its a good idea to start building a community.

What do you think about this idea? There's any suggestion for a market where sportsbook isn't popular yet?

There's certainly a market for this. Even if thought its kind of bottom feeding I you'll likely find many players don't have the discipline to see it through and will blowoff cash in the casino (which is good for you).

Also if you teach them to take advantage of bonus offers you could affiliate many other sites as well.

If you're interested I have arbbetting.com available. You can have it for $200 if you'd like. It's at godaddy now and has unbroken registration since 2003.
If you're going to bet US Sports online - I strongly suggest 5Dimes.com or Bookmaker.eu.

Some succeed because they are destined to, but most succeed because they are determined to.

I also thought about that lately but my concern was that you hardly get accepted for affiliate programs when you target arbitrage bettors. Or am I wrong here?
You could always signup with another site as reference but what if the program finds out? Any risk that the account is closed?

Thanks for the infos pokerprop. I'm working in a portuguese-based project, so I could not use your domain, but thanks for offering.

Mr-AJ: I have exactly this same question. I'm not sure if its prohibited and/or can be cause of a ban, but I know that they don't like this kind of traffic. I would really appreciate if someone show up with some more detailed infos about this pratice. Arbitrage bets is a very powerful tool for conversion specially in my market, where people are not used with sportsbook (it has the magic of the risk-free idea, etc).

BTW, for those who experienced arbitrage bets, whats the best general format for commission, rev. share or cpa?

pro arbers know where their accounts are welcome, and those books generally carryover and have active player betting clauses, or alternatively offer small commission on turnover, not actual revenue (think asians, pinnie, exchanges and a few stand alone books)

they also know where their business is not welcome or soon limits , and many of them use less than ethical means of betting at those books, which is probably of no use to an affiliate (think UK/euro books)

unfortunately, arbers more than likely find the value lines at the books that kick them out pretty quick

hope thats useful enough without being too criptic

    cheers
    FS
