Please join me in welcoming CarbonPoker.com and my friends at PDCAffiliates to the spotlight this week. If there is one company that embraces web 2.0 it is these guys. Whether it be their new blog, they're cool affiliate tools, peel downs, their love for Twitter, you name it, the team at PDC is on top of new trends.

CarbonPoker.com has a great crew of A.M.'s behind it as well. They are always very easy to get in touch with and love seeing their affiliates be successful.

CarbonPoker is on the Merge network, which as you all know has made leaps and bounds over the past year. If you're not working with Carbon yet, I highly encourage to too.

firstly I would like to point out all the advantages/ features of our program and just lay it all out there for you all in Black and white. We have recently launched an application for you to request bonus codes and also tournaments from your admin section.

The next phase of development will see further integration allowing you to custom make banners/ landers that will automatically pick out the bonus codes available to you and insert them into your banners and landing pages - they will also dynamically change the site .

We have also recently moved the affiliate and Marketing team to North America - allowing us hopefully to serve you better. There will be some new faces joining the team. Our first new recruit into the Affiliate section is Atil, look out for him, he will be in touch with you all soon to discuss our plans and how we can help you make more money.

When players enter an affiliates coupon code when depositing does it override n affiliate link?

We are focusing in on Carbon in the main, PDC was set up to transition players from the old Poker.com away without feeling like we had just dumped them in a new room, we tried to keep it as seamless as possible.

Our bonus system is probably one of the best I have ever seen across any industry. If I could show you the things possible it would blow your mind. We can give out any kind of bonus, restrict byclass, by affiliate, by country, by payment type, by gender, we can issue tournament coupons from a deposit bonus, and too many other things to mention here!
But to answer your question there is a feature in the system the allows us to use a "offline bonus coupon" which will overwrite cookie tracking.

Sorry Ian I'm a little confused ... lets say a person were to visit and sign up for Carbon Poker through my affiliate link... he then googled for a Carbon Poker coupon code, found another affiliates coupon code and entered that and made a deposit.

Which affiliate would be credited for the player?

It would depend on how the bonus code was set up. When we set up bonus codes for affiliates they are exclusive to them - so the player would need to be tracked to that affiliate before they were able to take advantage of the bonus code. If they had not come through the cookie of the affiliate they wouldn't be able to redeem the bonus -thus not be tracked to the "new" affiliate if they just tried to type it in... hope you followed that..

We pay the last referring affiliate. It is possible for the system to set up a bonus that would overwrite a cookie, however we generally only use these for affiliates that are legitimate "offline" affiliates, so unless a code is set up in such a way to overwrite a bonus code they won't.

I understand all affiliates concerns with this matter and I think and hope that we deal with these in a pretty fair manner without compromising integrity of the program or also our own growth through offline bonus codes.

If there is any abuse of the system, I will take action against the offending affiliate and remove their ability to use bonus codes.
