Hey Dan, no offense taken man. Affiliates should always be wary of generic 'sales' pitches given out by affiliate managers. Obviously I can't pull player data and post it here on the forums but I'll try and explain a little more about what I'm thinking for conversions.

When a new player comes to a site the first thing he wants to do is see what's available. Players are savvy enough now to know that there is always a bonus waiting for them when they join. In poker we all cringe at freerollers who come in and inflate our numbers. The programs no doubt waste money here, and for the most part lose out over time due the poor conversion rates (vs marketing cost). In bingo it's the same thing. Players will come in and start to play. When they win or become interested in the games then the decision to make a deposit becomes relevant.

So here's the logic. We want players to be interested in the games first. When they are interested in the games then they become a customer (and make you money). When a player comes in and is interested in the chat features before the game features the chance of them becoming a depositing player actually decreases. There is definitely room to argue this on both sides (ie: Bingo Players love to chat and they will buy cards all day long if they're chatting). That argument is valid to a certain extent, but not as strong for a first time players. Loyalty is built up over time because these players get to know each other and will continue to play as a community together. It doesn't happen on the first visit; but it does start to happen.

Great questions though. Also, the chat feature being disabled is still a test. If it ends up lowering conversions then we'll simply switch it back on. As for now, they are up as we're keeping with it. Another factor that might make these numbers look better is that our current payment processing is up compared to the other large US bingo rooms.
Thanks again guys. Shoot me anything else you'd like to know.

    Hey Greg,

Thanks a lot for the great response. It's good to know there's a method to the madness And I think it's refreshing to see something new tried. Hopefully it works out in regard to more conversions.

Default Re: CyberBingo - Screens and Conversions

Quick note before the morning, the new 500% deposit bonus for January is performing really well. I'll post some more info tomorrow but if you have a bingo site and need some converting content please PM me. I'll shoot over the details.
