    Default 500 Internal Error

Hey guys any idea what would cause a 500 Internal Server Error. I don't think I did any updates or anything and it just started over night at my main site.

I have no idea how it happened or how to fix it. Sites with the same hosting aren't having problems that I know of.

Any help would be appreciated. Not fun dealing with this hungover on your birthday haha

Your host is probably just down for a bit.

I got a 503 error on one of my sites recently. After checking EVERYTHING from the server setup to even do a re-install of wordpress, the site was still down. Finally figured out what the problem was. The error_log file was over 2 GB and therefore the entire site went down. I cleared the error_log and the site was back online.

Host Gator has been switching / upgrading servers. Any chance it might be due to that?
