RakeVIP.com - Rakeback Site With Traffic

Selling my first ever site, which made me tens of thousands of dollars in it's first year of business. As a new rakeback affiliate I pushed Eurolinx as my brand of choice on this site, when they closed I let the whole site go and never should have. This is an excellant domain and I always envisioned building it to be the "VIP of Rakeback" promoting both Rakeback deals and VIP programs side by side.

Sadly I got involved with other projects - I've been telling myself I really need to reignite this domain because even untouched for over a year it still gets daily traffic. For anyone with some SEO inclinations, it will be an EASY roi and has the powerful branding aspect to go with it.

Attached is current traffic dating back to January 1 2010, I can go back further if it matters but I haven't touched it since July 2009. Unfortunately all links are dead, signup form is dead, and the old tracking links on there are for a long since sold off RU account.

I can confirm this site got signups everywhere listed and return visitors and searches by brand name. I can't say this enough - not quite turnkey but VERY easy turn around.

Please note there is a few errors in the design coding so I would suggest a buyer go with a complete redesign, but fixing is also possible.

Wow! For anyone considering this MJ like totally busted his ass on this one at one time. I think he spent like 3 months just gathering info on forums and racking up to 500 posts on PAP before he was even an affiliate to prepare for making this exact site. It would have only be 2 months but he picked some fights with AMs along the way and raised some hell here and there first.

Totally shocked to see this site is in its current state, because I think I talked to MJ daily on MSN a lot of times when he was building this and he annoyed the hell out of me to be honest (or j/k, or maybe not :P) and know he busted his ass and made a LOT of money with this one all starting from scratch.

I see a lot of semi-new affiliates with some really shitty domains, which is fine to start out. But RakeVIP.com is a mega upgrade for most - and no doubt this one can work again. It also probably has some good Karma and energy surrounding it because when it was run MJ was not yet a member of the dark side (joke, hope someone LOLs) and spent a lot of time on forums as a player advocate and cared about what he did. Perhaps Karma surrounds this one and someone can jump start their business picking this up.

Is a steal at current bid IMO. No idea if it meets his reserve or not but totally works as a great domain as someone who needs something better for a main site.

Anyways good luck with sale and very sad to see this site in the form that it is in.

I have a lot to reply too here, I was going to set a reserve of 1k but there is enough interest I am just going to sell straight auction style.

I was on the golf course all day, so let me catch up.

I also want to say that PokerProp everything you said is true, don't think I don't realize it - the darkside for me was putting food in my kids mouth even though I miss being the players advocate I once was. It got me thinking enough I intend a full reply just been busy for a coulple days. Coming soon on that.

For right now I will set next wednesday as the end of auction, I think we might be able to end it sooner I just haven't been able to reply to all inquiries and pm's so highest bidder on Wednesday of next week 6pm CST gets it no reserve.

Over 1k I will sell yes - i confused another bidder with that too. I didn't set a BIN to see what the market values it, I just want a minimum 1k and then it goes, otherwise I'll try to improve myself sometime (ya right!) and keep it.

Hope that helps, any questions hit me up - I'm not going to jump on the first offer but once 1k offer is made I'll turn this out straight auction style maybe 72 hours from when the reserve (1k) is met.
